About CrowdPhoto
CrowdPhoto was conceived, developed, and launched over the course of one weekend by a group of developers, designers, and entrepreneurs. The original idea came from tech guru Eric Hammond while he was backpacking through Southeast Asia. He had heard on the news that there were fires in Malibu, and he wanted pictures of his mansions to ensure that they had not burned down.
By tapping into the vast network of people who carry camera phones, CrowdPhoto.net allows anyone to get a current picture of whatever they want no matter where they are.
